The project was planned and implemented together with the Austrian Federal Chancellery in Vienna, and hVerify was accredited by the Federal Ministry of the Interior for this purpose.
The Market Office and the BMWET (formerly the Federal Ministry of Labour and Economy) also confirm that verification via E-ID or ID Austria meets the requirements of the Trade Regulation Act as well as youth protection legislation.

Auch das Marktamt und das BMWET (ehem. Bundesministerium für Arbeit und Wirtschaft) bestätigen, dass die Verifikation mittels E-ID bzw. ID-Austria den Vorgaben der Gewerbeordnung als auch des Jugendschutzes erfüllt werden.

- Can be controlled via RS232.
- Receive an activation signal via a pulse or relay.

ID recognition partly takes place locally on the hVerify device. An internet connection to our Austrian server is required for biometric facial verification.
In case of temporary connection issues, the system automatically attempts to reconnect. Operators are automatically notified of disruptions so they can respond quickly.

Yes, hVerify fully supports flexible age limits from 0 to 100 years. You can set any age limit for different product categories – for example:
- From 14 years: depending on regional legislation
- From 16 years: beer, wine and similar beverages
- From 18 years: spirits, tobacco products and other age-restricted products
- Any other age limit: freely configurable according to your requirements
